How do you get a bunch of middle aged guys to keep quiet and watch from a respectful distance? Its time for the A Main!
I think it would be cool if there were some grandstands next year, Rick, can you work on that please?
The only thing more serious than the racers in the A Main at the Fray are the marshalls in the A Main at the Fray.
Hey, why are those wheels sticking out like that?
Does the oil on your forehead make the car stick better or does it make all the other racers more nervous?
It appears that Doug has mastered the art of T-Jet racing using only his mind to move the car.
One thing I really love about this bunch of guys is once the racing is over there is a warmth of friendship that goes far beyond the commonplace and everyday. I believe we all share something that is dear to us and deeply embedded in our souls that is difficult to explain to those who do not understand. Perhaps it is the countless hours in the basement as children running laps and tinkering with our beloved toys, or, maybe something far more esoteric and obscure, but, whatever it is I am sure we are all blessed to know each other and share our funny little hobby.
No more jokes or philosophy, Rick, its been a long time coming, congratulations!
